Monday: Finish Graphing -bar graph and line plot
No homework
Tuesday: Stem-and-leaf plots
11, 11, 12, 24, 25, 30, 42, 45, 45, 45
stem ______leaf
___________
1 _______1, 1, 2
2 _______4, 5
3 _______0
4 _______2, 5, 5, 5
Homework: Finish Worksheet
Wedensday: Meadian, Mode, Range, and Outlier
**median is the middle number. Line all numbers up from least to greatest, then cross off the highest number then the lowest number, and repeat until you get to the middle.
**mode is the number that shows up the most
**range is the difference between the highest and lowest numbers in the data
**Outlier is a number that is a lot higher or lower than the other numbers in the data.
Homework: Median and mode worksheet
Thursday: Mean (average)
Add all number sin the data then divide that total by how many numbers were added.
example 1,2,2, 4, 6,6, 9, 10 so, 1+2+2+4+6+6+9+10=40, 40 divided by 8 (because we added 8 numbers together) = 5, so the mean is 5.
Homework: Finish Worksheet
Friday: Study Guide: over chapter datat about us. graphing (bar graphs, line plots, coordinate graphs, stem and leaf-both making and reading) Mean, median, mode and range. Also Outliers.
Homework: STUDY!! TEST Monday
